Also the implementation utilizes Twilio SaaS capabilities for advanced communications between the marketplace parties.
MyWanderLust is a P2P rental marketplace. It provides the renting possibilities for the travelers all over the world. The platform is invite only and in order to get listed the new user have to be invited by existing member and has to undergo a thorough vetting process by platform admin. Each registered member is capable of both serving as a host and renting another member’s property via the marketplace.
Apartment cost is managed by admin and displayed in coin (kind of internal platform currency) value on weekly basis, and the prices can vary as defined via calendar settings (for instance high season weeks can be priced differently than the weeks not popular for the particular travel destination).
The server members have to pay subscription fee, in addition the extra amenities have to be paid for separately. Such amenities are optional and users can choose not to order them if not necessary.
Registered users can post listings, book apartments, chat via messenger (but only once once a booking has been accepted), earn coins for renting. Members do not earn any real money (except for extra services. The price for such services is pre set). Only coins can get traded amongst members.
Admin can manage price (coin value) of the property, high season weeks and manage the whole marketplace, charge fee for provided services.
